Renhe is an old industrial town far from both downtown (45 minutes drive), and Pazhou (around 50 minutes by taxi). Yet, it is relatively near Baiyun International Airport, within 15 minutes drive.

Hotels here are really cheap, ranging from US$10 to US$40, and most of them will not increase the room rate during Canton Fair. They provide basic facilities, like internet access, air conditioner, etc.

As a remote area, there is no metro. In the town center, taxi still can be found but not very often, while go deeper into the village, public bus would be the main choice of transport, and there are also motorcycles. Just a few star hotels provide shuttle bus to Pazhou (but charge about US$10 per head). If you are traveling in a group and just choose the one without shuttle bus, you can rent a van to other places.

Convenience stores can be easily found here, but banks, supermarkets and western restaurants are rare to be seen. Besides, the great tumult on the street wouldn’t stop until midnight.

If you are just looking for a resting place right after your landing in the airport, and do not care spending more time and money on transportation, Renhe could be your choice. However, due to the inconvenient transportation to Pazhou and the inconvenience of daily life, it is not our recommendation, but may be your last minute choice.
