Xinshi is one of the area where concentrate many cheap accommodations in Guangzhou. Budget hotels here starting from US$15 per day during Canton Fair, and most of the room rates range from US$20 to US$40.

It is 30 to 40 minutes drive to Pazhou. There’s no metro within walking distance (the nearest one is Sanyuanli, within 5min by taxi), yet, with the airport highway, it just takes half an hour to the airport (about US$15 taxi fare).

Environment here is not so good, with large number of floating population. It’s some kind of chaos, noisy and dusty, and you should mind the security at night. As a “new county” in Guangzhou, it is mainly for the immigrants from other provinces, making a living here.

Daily consumption here is not high, yet, you would find it meet your needs of daily life. There are supermarkets like Carrefour, as well as McDonalds, KFC, Korean restaurants etc.

Staying in Xinshi, you would be able to feel the vitality of a new zone developing from a county, witnessing the townsmen busily struggling for the living.
