Haudu district is in the north of Guangzhou, where Baiyun international airport is located. It is far from both Pazhou (90 minutes drive) and downtown (1 hour taxi). There is no metro, so taxi or coach will be the main choice.

Most of the hotels in Huadu will not increase room rates during Canton Fair, ranging from US$15 to US$50. Some of the star hotels provide standard facilities, and compared to the same level hotels in other place of Guangzhou, they are value for money, except for the inconvenience to Pazhou.

Currently, we just visited the hotels in the town center Xinhua, where it would be more convenient for daily life. Xinhua is the commercial center of Huadu, with many entertainments like sauna, KTV, nightclubs, golf club, hot springs, etc.

There is an industrial zone Shiling with many factories, mainly producing leather products, automobile, jewelry, etc.

Generally, if you would like to stay not far from the airport, or visit the factories mentioned above very often, living in Huadu would be a good choice.
