Fangcun is located on the west border of Guangzhou, with 4 metro stations, the nearest of which (Fangcun) from Pazhou is 15 stops (about 30min) away, and 1 stop to the nearest downtown Shangxiajiu.

This area is a relatively quiet suburb residential site, and you will find here much cheaper hotels ranging from US$20 to US$60 per night. They provide basic facilities, but just a few would offer free shuttle bus to Pazhou.

It is famous for Bai’e Tan Bar Street, where you would enjoy the western atmosphere, have fun and meet many other foreigners. Besides, Huadi building, the center of Fangcun with Trust-mart shopping mall, café, and McDonald’s around, would get convenience for your daily life.

There are also some wholesale markets, like fishing tools market (near the Exit D of Kengkou metro station), tea and tea set market, as well as pets & gardening arts market (near the Exit A of Huadiwan metro station). If you are interested in these, it would make your trip with more fun.
