North-western Haizhu is 9 kilometers away west from Pazhou Venue. There are three metro stations here which enable you to reach Pazhou venue in 20minutes. Besides, public bus and taxi are available. It’s also easy to get to downtowns. The latest downtown are is 15minutes drive away.

Generally, north-western Haizhu is a local residential area, with lots of mid range restaurant and supermarket like Carrefour, Trust-mart, so it is convenient to buy daily necessity. You can also find some local style western restaurants and western fast food chain like KFC in the area.

As it is very convenient to go to Pazhou, hotels in this area would double or triple the price during Canton Fair, with twin room rate US$70 per night. Usually hotels in this area are mainly mid range hotel, mainly catered to local clientele during non Canton Fair period. So, you can expect standard facilities, with internet access in most hotels. Also, there are also hotels which just provide basic facilities (TV, Air-condition, Internet access) charging under $60. Yet, most of the hotels do not have English speaking staff.

Due to the convenience of transportation and daily life, it could be a good place to live during Canton Fair.
