Tongxinnan is a gathering place for Muslim and Africans in Guangzhou, and many Muslim restaurants can be found here. It is located among the favorable locations for foreign visitors, such as Guangzhou Railway Station to the west, where there are many garment wholesale markets, and area around Garden Hotel to the east, which is well known for its western nightlife. All of them are within 5 minutes drive.

It takes about 30 minutes to Pazhou by taxi. There is no metro station nearby and the nearest one is about two bus stops away, 5minutes drive.

Living in this area, you have to bear the noise because of the heavy traffic, and there run through a railroad and an overpass. If you mind the noise, you’d better choose the hotels that are not on the roadside, esp. on Huanshi Mid-road.
