Xiajiao and Luoxi are located on the small island, 20 minutes drive south from Pazhou and downtown. There is a metro station Xiajiao within walking distance, and taxis are easy to get.

Hotels here would double the room rates during Canton Fair, ranging from US$25 to US$80. They just provide basic facilities, most of which are without internet access. Internet cafés are available nearby. Daily life is still convenient, with restaurants, banks and supermarkets. Yet, there’s few entertainment.

There are several wholesale markets for hotel and restaurant supply, like kitchen equipment, ceramic ware, bedding, guest room furniture, etc. You can also find the hardware, plastic as well as tea markets.
