Instructions for Acquiring New IC Card for the coming 104th Canton Fair |

A new type of card management system will be adopted for issuing IC cards as the Fair’s badge in the upcoming 104th session of the Canton Fair. The previous issued E-pass cards will no longer be used. All buyers must acquire the new IC card to get access to the Fair. Here’s an instructions on how to acquire the new IC card.
You need to get the new IC card in person. There are 4 ways to get the IC card:
Method 1: (Applied to regular or new buyers, free of charge, need to bring a photo, need to apply online and wait for 3 work days, no need to hand over
your previous Buyer Card) Please bring:
Paper Invitation/ E – Invitation (see Remark 3)
A recent photo (see remark 1)
Personal documents (see remark 2)
Business card
Method 2: (Applied to regular or new buyers, free of charge, NO need to bring a photo, need to apply online and wait for 3 or 6 work days, NO need to
hand over your previous Buyer Card) Please bring:
Notice for Acquiring Cards (see Remark 3)
Personal documents (see Remark 2)
Business card
Method 3: (Applied to regular buyers only, free of charge, need to bring a photo and hand over your previous Buyer Card, NO need to apply online) Please bring:
Buyer Card for the past Canton Fair (such as your E-pass)
A recent photo (see remark 1)
Personal documents (see Remark 2)
Business card
Method 4: (Applied to regular or old buyers, need to pay RMB100 for the new IC card, NO need to apply online and NO need to hand over your Buyer Card) Please bring:

Remarks:
(1) A recent photo refers to a color passport photo with a size of about 5cm × 4 cm. You can also take a snap shot at the Pazhou venue. The cost is RMB30/ person.
(2) Personal documents include: H.K./ Macao Home-return Permit or I.D. Card, Taiwan Compatriot Travel Certificate, Overseas Passport, valid overseas residence certificate or a Chinese passport with the valid overseas employment visa valid for over one year.
(3) How to apply online
1) Get the user name and password for the BEST (Buyer E-Service Tool) platform:
Go to this page: http://invitation.cantonfair.org.cn/en/index.aspx and click “Getting User Name and password for Regular Buyers”.
If you are a new buyer or you forget the company name and fax number with which you registered for your Buyer Card previously, click “Registration for New Buyers”. The registration is free. You only need to fill the address and fax number of your company and your contact number.
Official sanction will be emailed to you 3 work days with your user name and password written on it if your registration information is approved.
Notice: If your company is located in mainland China, then your application will probably be turned down automatically and you won’t receive any inform letter! You should fill an company address outside mainland China.
2) Get the “Invitation”
Use the user name and passport to login the Best platform and click the “Pint out E-invitation”
3) Get the “Notice for Acquiring Cards”
Click “Apply for IC Card” and fill in your information (it requires you to upload a photo). The “Notice for Acquiring Cards” will be emailed to you 3 work days later if your application is approved. Then print the “Notice for Acquiring Cards”.

You can get your new IC card at the China Import and Export Fair Complex (Pazhou venue) or 35 appointed hotels as below (be careful that the hotels may not offer the snap shot service):
